Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Coordination
- Directly supervise the center team, including outreach workers, facilitators, drivers, and support staff.
- Foster collaboration among team members to ensure effective planning, delivery, and follow-up of PSS sessions.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review activity implementation, challenges, and strengthen teamwork.
- Ensure that all team members uphold child safeguarding standards and code of conduct.
- Collaborate with outreach workers and volunteers to identify beneficiaries, as well as organize events to promote the work of the center in the local community.
2. Program Implementation and Oversight
- Develop weekly and monthly activity schedules in coordination with the PSS and CP teams.
- Ensure a detailed workplan is in place and followed accordingly, in line with the project requirements, timelines, and reporting obligations.
- Monitor the quality and impact of activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives.
- Follow up on outreach and engagement efforts to ensure beneficiaries attend the sessions regularly.
- Maintain a flexible approach to adapt to emerging needs, including adjusting team schedules or center operations.
3. Logistics and Operational Support
- Determine the logistic needs of the center and act accordingly to assure that the centers are fully equipped and meet the requirements of the program.
- Ensure that procurement requests are submitted on time and coordinate delivery and stock control of materials.
- Maintains regular contact with the local suppliers and providers to obtain quotes for center materials and to assist in the coordination of the daily provision of beneficiaries’ refreshments.
- Coordinate with the bus drivers to organize safe and timely transport for caregivers and children to/from the center.
4. Community Engagement and Visibility
- Serve as the main point of contact with the community, municipalities, and local actors to build trust and promote the center’s work.
- Organize awareness events and visibility activities to inform the community about available services.
- Build partnerships with local NGOs, municipalities, and other service providers to foster referral networks and synergies.
5. Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation
- Collect, verify, and enter all beneficiary data (registration, attendance, progress tracking) and ensure proper archiving.
- Maintain and review all administrative documents (timesheets, invoices, receipts, delivery notes, and leave records)
- Submit weekly progress reports to the project officer and escalate any issues or risks .
- Conduct focus group discussions and needs assessments when required.
- Responsible for all case referrals. 6. Safety, Security, and Safeguarding
- Ensure the center remains a safe and inclusive space for beneficiaries and staff.
- Monitor and report any protection concerns, breaches of confidentiality, or incidents immediately and through proper channels.
- Actively uphold War Child’s child protection policy and ensure all center activities are compliant with safeguarding standards.
- Ensure the Feedback Complaint Response Mechanism is functional and in place
7. Other Tasks
- Participate in all relevant training and coordination meetings.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the project officer that contribute to the success of the center.
- Remain flexible with working hours, including weekends or late hours when needed based on project requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in center management, community development, or humanitarian work.
- Prior experience with psychosocial support, child protection, or education programs preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other data platforms.

- High level of accountability, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

- Fluent in Arabic; good command of English is an asset.
