Context & Background

About Berytech:

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

About Euromed Clusters Forward:

Euromed Clusters Forward is a 4-year project that aims at establishing and improving clusters legal policies, strengthening clusters capacity & regional cooperation, and strengthening regional value chains. Berytech is the implementing partner of Euromed Clusters Forward in Lebanon, that is funded by the European Union and coordinated by Anima Investment Network with 3 implementing partners and 9 affiliates from the Euromed region.

About Cluster Booster:

Cluster Booster is a technical assistance activity under the Euromed Clusters Forward led by Berytech. It aims at strengthening the skills of cluster managers, staff, and SME members in the South Mediterranean region. This 18-month program offers training and technical help to help clusters grow and succeed.

Key focuses include developing strategies to attract new members; scaling-up their business performances and enhancing technological and innovation capabilities to foster North-South Mediterranean collaboration. 

Cluster Overview:

A Lebanese agrifood cluster with 120 members, of whom 90 are active, founded 6 years ago. Its core objective is to bring Lebanese agrifood industries on par with the most innovative economies in the world, thus making Lebanon’s flag fly higher on the world food innovation and trade map. Besides strengthening technical prowess and nurturing a culture of collaboration and mutual exchange within the Lebanese agrifood sector, the cluster is constantly at work to bring international opportunities to the innovative enterprises that are part of our cluster.

Scope of work

The Executive Innovation Academy (EIA), a flagship program supported by QOOT, aims to empower executive-level professionals with innovation leadership skills. To enhance its reach and impact, EIA seeks a partnership to organize and implement the academy’s opening and closing ceremonies and training modules (in a hybrid format) for 15 executives of the member companies.

The partner(s) will have a major role in the academy development and in return will receive visibility, co-branding recognition, and preferential involvement in future cohorts and alumni engagement activities.

Candidates can apply to all the components or to Component 1 or 2 separately with separate budgets.

Scope of Work

The partner(s) will be responsible for the following:

Component 1: Academy Development and Organization – Training materials, events planning & execution

  • Modules Development & Trainers Selection: Developing and delivering up to 8 themed modules (curriculum already available). Identify, recommend, and engage expert trainers and academic professionals with strong innovation credentials to prepare and deliver the training. Ensure content reflects current global trends in executive innovation and agrifood industry needs.
  • Mentoring /Shadowing: Identify, recommend, and engage expert shadows or mentors with strong business background to shadow and mentor the executives in developing their innovations.
  • Opening Ceremony: Co-plan and co-host a dynamic launch event to introduce the Academy, its objectives, and its value to participants. Coordinate venue, program agenda, keynote speakers, media coverage, networking and refreshments and participant engagement activities.
  • Promotion of the academy: Jointly implement a marketing campaign targeting executive-level candidates in the agrifood sector. Promote the Academy through the academic institution’s and QOOT’s networks, digital channels, and media partners. Support visibility through co-branded materials and events, reinforcing the strategic role of the academic partner.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Jointly develop and implement with the cluster an M&E plan including a mid-term feedback and final impact assessment program to measure results, satisfaction, participant progress, and strategic recommendations for future cohorts.

Component 2: Academy Development and Organization – Technical support on the e-learning & online modules execution

  • Production of Online Modules: Coordinate with trainers on video production standards and timeline. Produce the videos and ensure quality content delivery through production of up to 8 online training modules such as video recording, digital materials, animation among others. Provide the resources for the selected trainers to design supporting digital learning tools.
  • E-learning Platform: Provide and manage the digital platform for asynchronous and synchronous components of the program including up to 8 online training modules. Create user friendly journey for all executives to access the training modules, connect with the trainers and submit their deliverables and reports based on an agreed timeline. Ensure all content is accessible and aligned with the learning objectives of each module.
  • Closing Ceremony: Co-organize a capstone event to showcase executive projects, host expert panels, and distribute certificates. Coordinate venue, program agenda, keynote speakers, media coverage, networking and refreshments and participant engagement activities.
  • Promotion of the academy: Jointly implement a marketing campaign targeting executive-level candidates in the agrifood sector. Promote the Academy through the academic institution’s and QOOT’s networks, digital channels, and media partners. Support visibility through co-branded materials and events, reinforcing the strategic role of the academic partner. Creation of videos showcasing the success of the academy and the projects created along with testimonials from participants.
expected deliverables

Component 1:

Curriculum Execution: Full delivery of the 80-hour program in a hybrid format including technical mentoring and project-based learning throughout the 8 modules.

Opening Event:

  • Organization and hosting of opening events.
  • Post event reports showcasing successful planning and execution of the opening ceremony, with high participation and media coverage.

Mentoring /Shadowing: 2 Reports showcasing the contribution of the mentors and their assessment of all the solutions (mid academy and end of the academy).

Promotion of the academy: Report highlighting the impact of the campaign.

Monitoring & Evaluation:

  • Submission of a mid-term feedback report assessing learning outcomes, participant satisfaction, and engagement.
  • Delivery of a final impact report, summarizing program results, participant progress, and strategic recommendations for future cohorts.

Component 2:

Production of videos and online modules: all videos produced and shared on the e-learning platform.

Digital support: A fully functional e-learning platform, including user friendly interface, all modules uploaded and accessible, engagement tracking and learner support.

Certification: Co-branded certificates jointly signed and awarded to all participants upon program completion.

Closing Event:

  • Organization and hosting of closing event.
  • Post event reports showcasing successful planning and execution of the closing ceremony, with high participation and media coverage.

Promotion of the academy:

  • Videos showcasing the success of the academy and the projects created along with testimonials from participants.
  • Report highlighting the impact of the campaign.

July – August 2025: Promotion campaign of the academy

August 2025: Modules Development & Trainers Selection

August - September 2025: Securing and preparing the e-learning platform

September 2025: Implementation of the opening ceremony

September - November 2025: Ongoing production & implementation of the online modules

December 2025: Implementation of the closing ceremony and certificate distribution

January 2026: Development of promotional videos and Reporting

Qualifications
  • Accredited university or academic institution with experience in executive or professional education.
  • Demonstrated capacity in innovation, leadership, or entrepreneurship programs.
  • Availability of a robust e-learning infrastructure.
  • Ability to co-promote and co-accredit the program.
