Videography Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Preparation and Content Development:

• Develop a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum covering all stages of video production: pre-production, shooting, sound, lighting, and post-production (editing and color correction).
• Integrate storytelling, camera operation, script writing, interview techniques, and content planning into the training.
• Ensure training content aligns with industry tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DSLR/mirrorless camera usage).
• Customize training materials to the learning level and pace of trainees.

2. Training Delivery:

• Conduct interactive, in-person training combining theory with practical assignments.
• Provide real-world scenarios and exercises such as producing promotional videos, documentaries, and social media content.
• Guide participants in planning, filming, and editing their own video projects using professional tools.
• Apply various teaching methodologies: project-based learning, peer feedback, and one-on-one coaching.

3. Learner Support and Reporting:

• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments/evaluations to assess learning and training outcomes.
• Prepare up-to-date assessments tools to monitor trainees’ progress and update course content and facilitation accordingly.
• Provide continuous feedback on individual and group projects.
• Mentor trainees in developing final video projects to showcase their skills.
• Document and report on learner attendance, performance, and feedback.

4. Collaboration and Support:

• Coordinate with the Training Coordinator to align the training with the overall training goals.
• Participate in meetings, coordination efforts, and documentation of success stories and lessons learned.
• Share best practices and insights with colleagues to continuously improve the training process.
