The Youth Activities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of Youth Program Activities to ensure their timely completion and achievement of project objectives. The Youth Activities Coordinator works closely with the project team, donors, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle..
MAIN DUTIES
• Leads and monitors youth activities implemented at the organization including workshops, vocational trainings, campaigns, community events and youth-led initiatives among other youth support related activities.
• Coordinates and monitors the implementation of workshops to ensure consistency of methodology and objectives.
• Support managing the budget and expenditures of Youth program activities.
• Deliver training workshops that might include Life Skills, Job Readiness, Career Guidance Entrepreneurship Skills and/or Technology-based training workshops to youth.
• Networks with local organizations to ensure effective implementation of activities.
• Supports the assessment of the impact of youth activities on beneficiaries.
• Ensures the activities targets of beneficiaries are met on time.
• Reports to Youth Support Programme Coordinator on activities progress and outcomes as well as the implementation of monitoring tools.
• Ensures the activities are well documented in terms of visibility, reporting, attendance sheets and other related documents.
• Builds volunteers capacities and supervises them to work on project-related activities.
• Ensure coordination and provide support with other programs in the center to ensure holistic service delivery for he community.
• Represents the organization in related events.
• Other duties as requested by the supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in youth coordination, technical training, or project management.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Proficiency in using technical tools and technology-related equipment.
• Experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations is an asset.
• Priority will be given to Male candidates from the camp and neighboring areas.
