Syrian Arab Republic: Humanitarian Notification System (HNS): Notified Humanitarian Static Sites and Movements (As of 30 June 2025)

CONTEXT

The Syria HNS is used by humanitarian organizations to strengthen the likelihood of facilitating humanitarian access and/or to reduce the likelihood and severity of harm to humanitarian workers, sites and/or assets. It does so through the voluntary and systematic sharing of humanitarian movement and/or site information with the relevant HNS Recipients.

Humanitarian notification does not change the IHL obligations of HNS Recipients.

The OCHA ROMENA Access and CMCoord Unit manages the Syria HNS.
