Job Purpose
To facilitate a two-day advocacy training workshop in July 2025 targeting 16 women and girls, aimed at enhancing their advocacy, leadership, and communication skills to initiate and lead community dialogues around issues affecting their communities. The workshop will culminate in the formation of a women’s reconciliation committee.
Responsibilities- Design a participatory and context-appropriate advocacy training agenda
- Prepare relevant tools, learning materials, and handouts
- Deliver a two-day interactive training using learner-centered methods
- Build capacities in advocacy, communication, and community engagement
- Support participants in planning steps for forming a women reconciliation committee
- Submit a brief final report (max. 2 pages) summarizing workshop outcomes and participant feedback
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, political science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience conducting advocacy and community training sessions
- Strong knowledge of advocacy strategies and community mobilization approaches
- Proven facilitation and leadership skills
- Gender-sensitive and inclusive approach
- Fluent in Arabic; good command of English is a must
- Workshop agenda and methodology (submitted prior to delivery)
- Full facilitation of the two-day training (in-person)
- Provision of handouts and learning tools (as applicable)
- Final summary report and evaluation
