Chef Trainer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Trainer to design, implement, and deliver kitchen crew training programs that support individuals with disabilities in acquiring professional culinary and kitchen operation skills. The trainer will be responsible for coordinating with the shareQ team to prepare inclusive and practical training curricula, deliver hands-on cooking sessions, and mentor beneficiaries on food preparation, hygiene, teamwork, and time management.

Responsibilities And Main Duties:

• Coordinate with shareQ team to update the culinary training curriculum and material. 
• Deliver hands-on kitchen crew training sessions, ensuring an inclusive and interactive learning environment. 
• Train participants in food preparation, cooking methods, hygiene, teamwork, and time management. 
• Monitor trainees’ progress and provide constructive feedback. 
• Document sessions, gather participant feedback, and report progress. 
• Collaborate with the outreach and M&E teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional kitchens or culinary instruction.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and modern culinary techniques.
• Experience in training or mentoring kitchen staff is preferred.
• Previous experience with NGOs, social enterprises, or working with vulnerable groups is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
