Call for Proposals to support the Operational Management & Maintenance of the Recycling Drop Off Center in Bourj Hammoud

The Recycling Drop-off Center (DoC) in Bourj Hammoud was established as part of an initiative to promote sustainable waste management practices and community participation in recycling efforts. This center is located on municipal public land in a key urban area, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of residents across neighborhoods.

The Recycling Drop-Off Center is designed to facilitate the collection, initial sorting, and temporary storage of recyclable materials from individuals, households, and small businesses. The infrastructure typically includes distinct containers for various waste streams (e.g., paper/ cardboard, plastics, metals, glass, and electronic waste), shaded areas for unloading, fencing for security, signage for public awareness, and basic administrative and sanitation facilities.
