Consultant: Trainer to Develop the Capacity of JWF's Ambassadors

1- Request:

Justice Without Frontiers is seeking to hire a consultant to train a group of 20 women and youth girls on communication skills, leadership, organizing, human skills, and knowledge, in addition to referral methods under the project “Together for Access to Justice”. This project is part of the ‘Expertise France - Women Empowerment Hub in Lebanon (WE-HUB),’ financed by the Neighborhood, Development, and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe) under the European Commission.

The goal of this training is to create a group of women and youth girls who will become ambassadors in their communities to raise awareness among women and girls about their rights, including protection and political participation, in collaboration with and under the supervision of Justice Without Frontiers.

The training will target women and youth girls: lawyers, trainee lawyers, human rights workers, law students, and survivors of gender-based crimes from various regions of Lebanon

 

 

2. Scope of work and deliverables

The trainer will be responsible for:

    • Design and deliver a comprehensive training program specifically for Ambassadors, covering key topics such as leadership, communication, gender-based violence (GBV), domestic violence, and relevant Lebanese laws.
    • Develop all necessary training materials, including the full training agenda, PowerPoint presentation, and interactive activities to ensure participant engagement and effective knowledge transfer.
    • Create and administer pre- and post-training tests to assess participants’ knowledge acquisition and measure the effectiveness of the session.
    • Equip participants with the skills and tools needed to confidently facilitate sessions, engage with various audiences, and uphold the values and objectives of the program.
    • Ensure consistency and high-quality facilitation standards across all training programs by applying best practices and delivering clear, structured content.
    • Provide ongoing support and constructive feedback to participants throughout the training, fostering their development as capable and informed Ambassadors.
    • Submit a detailed final report to JWF following the training session, including an overview of the session, analysis of pre/post-test results, participant feedback, and recommendations for future training.

 

 

  1. Skills and Experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, education, or a related field. A recognized certification in training, facilitation, or coaching is considered a strong asset.
    • Training Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly on gender-based violence (GBV), communication, and leadership.
    •  Experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations is highly desirable
    • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of participants effectively.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds and sensitivities.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage participants and facilitate interactive learning sessions.
    • Solid understanding of adult learning methodologies, facilitation techniques, gender-sensitive practices, and principles of communication and leadership development.
