Part-Time English Language Facilitator

ROAA is a youth-centered organization committed to creating inclusive, safe, and empowering learning spaces that foster growth, emotional well-being, and skills development among children and youth. Through its community-driven programs, ROAA works to enhance access to quality education, psychosocial support, and capacity building—especially for vulnerable populations. 

As part of our Summer Educational Support Program, we are looking for a dynamic and dedicated English Facilitator to lead interactive English language sessions and provide academic support to children aged 8 to 12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-prepared and age-appropriate English sessions that promote active participation and language acquisition.
• Provide support in students' summer school assignments and subjects as needed.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
• Design weekly learning plans and prepare necessary teaching materials in coordination with the program team.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Literature, Psychology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in teaching or facilitating learning for children, preferably within community-based or educational programs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to child protection, inclusivity, and participatory teaching methodologies.

Working Hours & Contract:

• 2 hours per day, 4 days per week.
• Contract for one month ( able to extend)
