Content & CMS Coordinator - Lebanon Innovate

1. Context & Background:

Lebanon Innovate is a national initiative co-funded by the European Union, designed to strengthen and support Lebanon’s innovation ecosystem — the network of entrepreneurs, researchers, institutions, support organizations, and enablers working to transform ideas into impactful solutions across sectors like agriculture, healthcare, ICT, and beyond.

At the heart of this initiative is LebanonInnovate.com — a dynamic and evolving online knowledge portal that serves as a central hub for tools, insights, and stories from Lebanon’s growing innovation landscape.

The Lebanon Innovate Portal is designed to:

  • Provide entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and ecosystem players with access to toolkits, reports, case studies, articles, and videos
  • Showcase success stories and innovations emerging from Lebanon
  • Serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and capacity building

To ensure this platform remains up-to-date, engaging, and visually aligned with the project’s branding, we are seeking a Content & CMS Coordinator. This consultant will play a key role in organizing, refining, and enhancing the portal’s content experience — including uploading resources on the website, editing videos, applying branding, and improving content flow and visibility.

2. Scope of Work:

The consultant will be responsible for:

  • Managing and uploading multimedia content (videos, articles, PDFs, etc.) on a rolling basis, in coordination with the Communications and Content Coordinator, to the portal.
  • Editing video content using tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, iMovie, or other user-friendly and platform-appropriate software. This includes:
    • Adding subtitles
    • Cropping and converting content into reels
    • Performing basic creative editing to enhance storytelling and engagement
    • Adjusting or adding audio, including voiceovers when needed
  • Reviewing, proofreading, and editing written content (including articles) to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with tone and branding guidelines.
  • Coordinating with videographers and content creators to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Ensuring all uploaded materials are properly formatted and aligned with the project’s branding. This includes:
    • Adding or editing cover pages
    • Applying official letterhead templates
    • Creating or adjusting thumbnails and banners in line with brand guidelines
  • Cleaning up outdated or duplicated content and improving the overall content structure.
  • Supporting quality control across the portal to ensure consistency and visual alignment.
  • Proposing layout or structural improvements to enhance content accessibility, navigation, and visibility.
  • Researching and curating relevant events, funding calls, competitions, and learning opportunities to be featured in the portal's Events and Opportunities section.
  • Submitting monthly progress summaries and maintaining open communication with the Communications Team.

3. Deliverables and Timeline:

The consultancy will run from August to October 2025 (3 months), with the possibility of an extension up to 6 months or longer based on performance, responsiveness, and evolving project needs.

Over the course of the 3-month engagement (August–October 2025), the consultant is expected to support the delivery of approximately 30 to 45 content pieces uploaded to the portal — including a mix of articles, PDFs, videos, and toolkits — and 12 to 18 edited video assets, ranging from short-form reels to subtitled interview clips. This also includes preparing branded materials such as cover pages and thumbnails to align with Lebanon Innovate's visual identity.

This scope provides a general frame of expected output, but is not limited to these figures, as flexibility and responsiveness to real-time content needs are essential to this role.

The consultant must be responsive, flexible, and able to work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a hybrid setup as needed.

4. Reporting and Communication:

  • Reports to the Lebanon Innovate Communications Team Lead
  • Weekly coordination meetings (online or onsite)
  • Shared folder updates and organized content delivery with documentation

5. Evaluation and Approval:

Performance will be assessed based on:

  • Quality and consistency of branding across content
  • Timeliness of uploads and responsiveness to feedback
  • Attention to detail in editing and formatting
  • Creativity in improving visual and user experience

All deliverables will be reviewed and approved by the Communications Team Lead.

All proposals must be submitted in Euros and should specify monthly fees distributed evenly over a 3-month period.
