Aa Salameh District Coordinator North and Akkar- Number of Days (working): 110

i. Liaise with MoPH, UNICEF, PHCCs on all the phases of the project (planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation)
ii. Working directly under the supervision of Director of the PHCC Dept., ensure proper communication, coordination,
management, and monitoring skills at different levels between all the stakeholders.
iii. Daily coordination with the PHC coordinators and the PHCCs engaged under the project and the community health
coordinator at the ministry of public health to monitor progress, address bottlenecks, build capacity and provide
needed guidance (technical and administrative guidance)
iv. Ensure weekly plans and schedules are developed and implemented by the PHCCs.
v. Develop detailed documentation needed for the running of the project (payment excel sheets, letters for signature,
reporting on the ongoing activities with suggested recommendations and mitigations when needed)
vi. Report any challenges/bottlenecks with all the stakeholders, with suggested mitigations to ensure the continuity of
the project.
vii. Ensure all activities at different centers are aligned together and running smoothly.
viii. Ensure data entry is appropriately maintained, and monitoring data is analysed weekly, and all concerned facilities are
provided feedback for corrective action, works closely with the IT team at the ministry.
ix. Capacity building for all related parties when needed.
x. Evaluating program effectiveness by monthly reporting on the project updates.

Deliverables:
A monthly report should be shared to MOPH and UNICEF outlining:
• The status of PHCCs enrolled under AaSalameh on availability of Nurse, Midwife and Community Health workers.
• Monthly performance of each PHCC for various indicators based on an agreed format/checklist with UNICEF.
• Conduct data analysis and calculate monthly incentives for each PHCC and share with UNICEF for fund transfer.
• Conduct weekly analysis of findings from the field monitoring and action taken report on the findings.
• Minutes of meeting of monthly follow-up meeting with PHCC coordinators and community health coordinators at
the ministry
• field visits executed with the relevant findings on all components.
The challenges noted in the implementation as well as recommendations for improvement.
Reporting Requirements
The consultant will be reporting to the Director of the PHCC Dept, Ministry of Public Health
A detailed monthly report must be submitted to UNICEF, on the development and progress of the project, with all the related
deliverables.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing/ Midwife or public health, Health Management,
or any related administrative or health field with at least 3-4 years of proven
professional experience.
Experience in managing health projects, providing technical assistance and
leadership through monitoring implementation processes, generating reports,
and communicating with various stakeholders.
• Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office tools, with a specific focus on Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with processing large amount of information and synthesizing it.
• Ability to work in a team and in a diverse work environment.
• Knowledge of United Nations – particularly UNICEF – processes and work
streams is an asset.
