Finance Consultant

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Oversee budget planning and monitoring for the organization and all active grants
• Manage financial reporting and compliance with grant and donor requirements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and board
• Coordinate financial audits and prepare required documentation
• Support proposal budgeting and cost allocation planning
• Ensure timely payment of invoices, stipends, and consultant fees
• Maintain organized financial records and accounting documentation on cloud-based systems
• Liaise with project managers to track expenses and ensure budget adherence

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management in the NGO sector
• Demonstrated experience in grant financial reporting and donor compliance
• Strong understanding of financial controls, policies, and budgeting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
• Ability to work independently and remotely with high accountability

Preferred:

• Experience with financial management of multi-donor or international grants
• Familiarity with Lebanese financial and tax regulations relevant to NGOs
• Interest in gender, sexual health, and human rights issues
