Call for Tender-Evaluation of assets for SOS Children's Villages Lebanon

SOS Children's Villages Lebanon is seeking the services of a qualified external consultant to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of its assets, including buildings, construction, equipment, vehicles, and furniture. The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the condition, value, and sustainability of these assets to ensure efficient management and utilization.

The main objectives of this consultancy service are to:
• Conduct a detailed assessment of all physical assets.
• Identify the current condition and depreciation status of assets.
• Provide recommendations for maintenance, replacement, or disposal.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial and operational policies.
• Enhance the overall asset management strategy of SOS Lebanon.

Scope of Work:
The consultant will be responsible for:
• Conducting an inventory and evaluation of all SOS Lebanon assets, including but not limited to:
o Buildings and infrastructure
o Construction materials and equipment
o Office and operational equipment
o Vehicles
o Furniture and other fixed assets
• Performing on-site visits to different SOS locations.

Providing a comprehensive report detailing asset conditions, depreciation analysis, and recommendations for improvements.
• Delivering a valuation of assets based on international standards.
• Suggesting an asset disposal plan where necessary.
• Asset Tagging Responsibility Statement by implementing a comprehensive tagging system for all fixed assets, including furniture items. This system must enable efficient inventory tracking, identification, and management of each asset. The consultant will ensure that each item is physically tagged with a unique identifier and that a corresponding digital record is created and shared with SOS Lebanon for integration into its asset registry. The tagging system must be practical, durable, and aligned with the organization's inventory management standards.


Qualifications and Requirements:
Interested bidders must meet the following criteria:
• Proven expertise in asset valuation, auditing, and financial assessment.
• Experience in conducting similar evaluations for NGOs or large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of asset management principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Lebanese financial and regulatory requirements related to asset assessment.
• Ability to deliver comprehensive reports with actionable insights.
