Case Management Officer - Bekaa Area

  • Provide regular supervision to CP and GBV case workers and make sure that staff correctly document cases in GBVIMS+ and CPIMS and ensure that they follow the steps involved in case management SOPs.
  • Document the action plan and work with survivor to implement plan as well as Follow-up with them to ensure developed plans are implemented accordingly.
  • Participate actively in GBV and CP sub sector working group and GBV/CP case management task Force meetings.
  • Lead in Case Management review meetings/conferences.
  • Ensure case management steps are followed, referrals and documentation are happening in an appropriately and timely manner in terms of child Protection and GBV.
  • Provide the needed technical support for the FPSS assistants providing PSS sessions to children and caregivers.
  • Supervise the FPSS team and ensure that FPSS services were provide in a quality basis following the interagency guidelines.
  • Provide the needed and timely materials for the team as needed.
  • Maintain files on all GBV and CP documented cases and follow-ups in all operational areas.
  • Regularly update documentation and maintain database for all documented cases, plan of action and follow-ups visits using the GBVIMS and the CPIMS.
  • Conduct regular meetings with GBV and CP caseworkers for debriefing and provide support as may be needed.
  • Manage Database of documented cases: to include statistics, and all other relevant information.
  • Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with case management actors in the field, including government actors, UN agencies, NGOs, and other relevant actors.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports of response activities to the Project Manager.
  • Update the service mapping as well as ensure that referral pathway at the state level is solidified
  • Identify and provide capacity building training for cases management team in terms of CP and GBV.
  • Document best case practices and case studies.
  • Support case workers in taking decision regarding case management.
  • Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the Protection officer /manager
  • Closely work with case management team and stakeholders in the course of project planning and implementation
  • Ensure preparation of timely and quality quarterly and annual project progress reports
  • Facilitate and ensure the involvement of children as primary stakeholders in all project work.
  • Ensure that project staff, Community Facilitators, volunteers, and stakeholders understand and are able to perform their role based on the project objectives and expected outcomes
  • In close collaboration with the protection Manager, provide leadership and manage the performance of intervention areas.
  • Coordinate with MEAL team to perform monitoring of the CM services as requested.

-BA degree in sociology, social work, social sciences, psychology or other relevant fields
- Previous 2 years of experience working with vulnerable children, adolescents, and adults in a corporate or NGO environment, preferably in the child protection and gender-based violence (GBV) field.
