CP FPSS/MHPSS Facilitator

Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified CP FPSS/MHPSS Facilitator based in Bekaa (Baalbek or Hermel districts).

Job Purpose / Main Functions:

The FPSS/MHPSS Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out focused psychosocial support activities with children at high risk of vulnerability.

FPSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency

guidelines.This position intends to build the resilience of the most vulnerable and conflict-affected children and youth through psychosocial support activities. The FPSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves a considerable positive impact on children and youth and promotes their well-being.

Aims of the position are to:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate psychosocial activities for children, youth and caregivers.

• Strengthening and improving the resilience and well-being of children and caregivers at risk.

• Ensure that all beneficiaries participate in activities that are non-discriminatory as well as age and gender sensitive and appropriate.

• Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.

• Work directly with CP team members to develop interventions, plans, and follow-up.

• Ensure that the children/youth and caregivers feel safe, comfortable, and respected all the time.
