Inclusion Assistant-Arsal

Description:

Objective 1: Follow up on the identification and engagement of children and people with disabilities in EDU and CP activities.

Monitors the implementation of tools and assessments to identify difficulties and disabilities during the outreaching phase.

Qualitatively analyze the data of the Washington Group Questionnaire (WGQ) completed by the outreach workers, frontliners and partners’ staff.

Pre-identify children and people with difficulties/disabilities through the collected data of the WGQ and reports to the Inclusion Officer.

In coordination with the Inclusion Officer, contribute to the identification and the confirmation of children and people with difficulties/disabilities through classroom and activities observations and coordination with caregivers.

 

Objective 2: Oversees the implementation of a referral pathway for beneficiaries in need of specialized support.

Liaises with Outreach Workers, Social Workers, Area Focal points and partners’ staff to identify available services for children and people with disabilities in the community.

Follows up on the technical aspect of the agreements with CBOs and dispensaries for the provision of specialized services

In coordination with TDH IT staff and partners’ staff, ensures the implementation of referrals and the provision of therapy services for CWD and PWD.

Coordinates with CBOs, dispensaries, therapists to plan the referral of CWD and PWD.

Monitors the implementation of therapy services through constant coordination and follow up with center staff, partners’ staff, CBOs and caregivers.

Ensure the Engagement of caregivers in the therapeutic pathway of their children through constant follow up.

 

Objective 3: Participates in internal trainings and external trainings organized by donors and international organizations.

 

Objective 4:  Report, Capitalization & Communication

Supports the M&E Department through data collection and regular update of information concerning project beneficiaries, with emphasis on those with specific challenges/vulnerabilities, support granted to them and progress and developments recorded;

Report on disabilities/additional needs in IMS System, RIMS, narrative reports and any other relevant platform.

In coordination with center staff and partners’ staff ensures the correct reporting on the provision of specialized services and referrals.

Report and give feedback on a weekly basis to the Inclusion Officer on the implementation of specialized interventions.

 

Objective 5: Raise awareness on disability inclusion and promote inclusive practices

Participate to the implementation of activities raising awareness on disability inclusion

In coordination with the inclusion officer, provide technical support to TDH IT frontliners and staff to raise awareness on disability inclusion

Provide technical support in coordination with the Inclusion Officer to CP and EDU frontliners to ensure inclusion of CWD and PWD
