About Rahma

The Association des Jeunes Islamiques (ADJI) is a leading Lebanese non-profit organization established in 1997, providing high-quality rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychosocial support, to persons with disabilities (PwDs), children with disabilities (CwDs), and the elderly.
ADJI also manages the Rahma Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) in Tripoli, a facility licensed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and part of the national primary healthcare network. Rahma PHCC offers comprehensive and inclusive health services to underserved communities in North Lebanon.
The organization upholds a zero-tolerance policy on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and strictly enforces the PSEA Code of Conduct for all personnel.

 

About the Project

The Rahma PHCC is currently implementing a 12 month, community-based health and nutrition intervention funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (OCHA/CBPF) under project code CBPF LEB 25 S NGO 35817.
The project aims to reach 7,000 vulnerable individuals in Tripoli and North Lebanon, with a focus on neighborhoods such as Jabal Mohsen and Abi Samra. It provides life-saving primary health care services, including nutrition, mental health, SRH, and immunization, through a multidisciplinary, community-driven approach.

 

About the Position

ADJI is seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join the team at Rahma PHCC to support medication management, ensure rational drug use, and contribute to quality pharmaceutical services in line with MoPH and humanitarian health standards.

Scope of Work

The selected Pharmacist will:

  • Dispense medications to patients in accordance with prescriptions and protocols
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use and adherence
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of dispensed medications
  • Monitor stock levels and report on consumption and needs
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on medication availability
  • Participate in health awareness campaigns and support rational drug use promotion
  • Ensure compliance with MoPH, WHO, and internal pharmaceutical guidelines
  • Maintain inventory and temperature control logs
  • Support the timely reporting of pharmaceutical data in PHENICS and ActivityInfo

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
  • Valid license from the Order of Pharmacists in Lebanon
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a primary health care or humanitarian setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management systems and reporting tools
  • Commitment to ethical standards and patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with MoPH drug protocols and essential medicine lists is an asset                                                   NB: Working Days: 8 days/ month
