Prevention Facilitator

Are you passionate about empowering youth, promoting mental health, and preventing substance use in your community?

We are seeking a committed and energetic Prevention Facilitator to join our Prevention Department and help deliver impactful, evidence-based educational programs to children, adolescents, and adults across Lebanon.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate structured sessions on life skills, mental health, and substance use prevention in schools, youth clubs, universities, and community centers.
• Adapt facilitation methods to meet the diverse needs of participants.
• Provide basic psychosocial support and create safe, inclusive environments for youth engagement.
• Support the design of prevention materials, awareness campaigns, and outreach activities.
• Conduct focus groups to assess needs and gather feedback from youth.
• Identify individuals needing additional support and refer them to mental health professionals.
• Document sessions and maintain accurate attendance and reporting.
• Mentor peer educators and youth volunteers.
• Attend ongoing training and capacity-building workshops.
   

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Education, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in facilitation, youth work, community engagement, or psychosocial support roles.
• Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Workshop facilitation and presentation experience
  • Excellent reporting and documentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Willingness to travel and work across Lebanon, including in the evenings and on weekends
• Holder of a valid driving license
