Graphic Design and Media Specialist

Peace Labs is producing three protocols designed to strengthen skills and practices in dialogue and communication within community, organizational, and cross-cultural contexts:

Protocol 1: Dialogue

Protocol 2: Communication (internal & interpersonal)

Protocol 3: Communication (external & public engagement)

Each protocol requires a professional, accessible design to enhance readability, support comprehension, and present information in a visually engaging way. Each is approximately 50 pages and will be supported by factsheets, tip sheets, and infographics.

2. Purpose of the Assignment

To design professional layouts, branded templates, and infographics for the three protocols (one for dialogue, two for communication) and to produce accompanying factsheets and tip sheets in line with Peace Labs’ branding guidelines.

3. Scope of Work

The Graphic Design and Media Specialist will:

Layout & Design

Develop a consistent, professional layout template for all three protocols.

Format and design each protocol (approx. 50 pages each).

Template Development

Create branded, editable templates for factsheets and tip sheets.

Infographic Creation

Design approximately 10 infographics per protocol (total: ~30 infographics) to visualize key concepts and processes.

Branding Compliance

Apply Peace Labs’ branding across all materials.

Ensure accessibility, readability, and suitability for both print and digital use.

Quality Assurance

Incorporate Peace Labs’ feedback into revised drafts.

Deliver final print-ready and editable source files.

6. Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in educational or development contexts.

Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Strong track record in publication layout design and infographic creation.

Experience working on content related to dialogue, communication, or social development is an asset.

Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

7. Reporting & Coordination

Reports to the project manager 

8. Payment Schedule

First installment: Upon approval of layout and template designs.

Second installment: Upon delivery and approval of the first two designed protocols and infographics.

Final installment: Upon delivery and approval of all final outputs.
