DTM Sudan's Early Warning Flash Alerts provide immediate updates on incidents and sudden displacement in Sudan.
On 8 August 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 80 households were displaced from Markz Alziadiya village in Gharb Bara locality, North Kordofan due to heightened insecurity. Households were primarily displaced to locations across Gharb Bara and Sheikan localities in North Kordofan. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
