Main tasks and responsibilities
Developing Data Collection Tools
- Assist in the creation and design of monitoring checklists, satisfaction surveys, and activities tracking forms.
- Ensure data collection tools are aligned with program objectives and donor requirements.
Conducting Field Monitoring Visits
- Regularly visit project facilities and outreach sites to track activity implementation and service delivery and verify the quality of services provided.
- Ensure that services are being delivered according to the standards and that any discrepancies are identified and reported.
Ensuring Timely and Accurate Data Collection
- Help ensure that data collection processes are efficient, accurate, and timely.
- Ensure compliance with donor’s indicators.
- Track and monitor performance indicators related to outputs and outcomes.
- Ensure that activities and service provision are meeting the requirements set by the donor and that results are properly reported.
Performing Data Validation and Quality Checks
- Cross-check data against records to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or errors.
- Recommend corrections or improvements to ensure data quality.
Supporting Real-Time Monitoring Systems
- Ensure smooth functionality and timely updates to monitoring systems.
Regular Data Check and Cleaning
- Perform regular/monthly checks on project data, identify any issues, and report discrepancies.
- Ensure that data is clean, accurate, and ready for reporting.
- Ensure Timely Reporting and Data Submission.
- Provide data quality assurance before submission to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Documenting Best Practices and Success Stories
- Capture and document case studies, best practices, and success stories to share with stakeholders and improve program impact.
- Prepare reports and visual presentations highlighting key achievements and lessons learned.
Supporting Adaptive Programming
- Provide insights and recommendations for adapting health service delivery based on monitoring and evaluation data.
- Ensure continuous improvement by addressing issues identified through MEAL activities.
- Must be willing to work across different center locations (Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Nabatieh).
Required qualifications and experience:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data management, social sciences, international relations, economic development, management administration or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and data collection/analysis roles and/or similar capacities.
- Knowledge of digital data collection tools (e.g., KOBO) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Experience with migrants or social projects monitoring and evaluation will be considered an added value.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues;
- Good knowledge of humanitarian principles, cultural sensitivity and ability to build trust across diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability and resilience in complex operating environments.
