Education Outreach Volunteer - Majdal Anjar - Bekaa Area

  1. Conduct outreach in pre-identified locations to engage with children, caregivers, and community members, building trust and positive relationships.
  2. Map out schools and other educational services in the area to support program implementation and referrals.
  3. Register children using KOBO or other designated field tools, ensuring accurate data collection.
  4. Upload collected data to the server daily and track children’s attendance on a weekly basis.
  5. Conduct awareness sessions for caregivers on topics like positive parenting and other relevant issues.
  6. Support the referral of children to formal education or other learning opportunities.
  7. Report on challenges encountered, good practices, and provide recommendations to improve program implementation.
  8. Ensure adherence to program guidelines and ethical standards in all interactions with beneficiaries.
  9. Participate in relevant training sessions, including safe identification and referrals, child safeguarding, and outreach best practices.
  10. Adhere to the work schedule as set by management, ensuring consistent and reliable contribution to the project while being flexible to meet evolving needs.
  11. Collaborate with team members across departments, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the smooth operation of community centers and achieve the project’s goals.
  12. Adapt to shifting priorities, proactively addressing challenges and assisting with any assigned tasks to ensure the continued success and positive impact of the project.
