The National Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (NCEI Lebanon) is pleased to announce an open call for highly qualified experts and consultants to join our dynamic pool of professionals dedicated to advancing Lebanon’s startup ecosystem and fostering sustainable, innovative development.

Our mission is to empower startups, entrepreneurs, and innovative enterprises by providing expert guidance, tailored consultancy, capacity-building, and mentorship, all instrumental for the growth and sustainability of Lebanon’s emerging innovation clusters.

Who We Are Looking For

We invite applications from seasoned professionals who meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications:

A university degree (Bachelor’s at minimum) relevant to your area of expertise is mandatory. Advanced degrees (Master’s, PhD) are highly preferred.

Fields of study may include but are not limited to Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Public Policy, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Community Development, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in consulting, project management, corporate governance, community development, or a related field.
• Prior experience working with startups, innovation hubs, cluster development, or ecosystem-building projects is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated expertise in integrating and leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance decision-making, project optimization, or governance processes.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory, given the local context and importance of effective communication with our stakeholders.
• English proficiency is also required for reporting and communication with international partners.

Cluster Expertise:
Candidates should identify their specialization and interest in one or more of the following clusters, aligned with Lebanon’s priority sectors and ecosystem needs:

• Technology and Artificial Intelligence
• Creative Industries and Digital Media
• Agriculture and Food Technology
• Renewable Energy and Environmental Innovation
• Healthcare and Life Sciences
• Tourism and Cultural Heritage
• Corporate Governance and Regulatory Frameworks

Consultant Roles and Expectations

• Consultants and experts will be engaged in the following activities:
• Providing strategic advice and hands-on consultancy to startups, SMEs, and ecosystem actors.
• Delivering training, coaching, and mentorship tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs and innovators.
• Designing and implementing development projects aimed at strengthening cluster collaboration and ecosystem integration.
• Applying AI tools to help design smarter interventions, optimize resource allocation, and improve governance structures.
• Supporting the design and adoption of corporate governance best practices among startups and SMEs.
• Engaging in community outreach to foster inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial culture.
