Justice Without Frontiers (JWF) is seeking a qualified Graphic Designer Consultant to support its communication and visibility efforts by designing a professional and cohesive set of publications and visual materials. The consultant will be responsible for designing a total of six (6) booklets—three ranging between 30 to 50 pages, and three approximately 70 pages—as well as three (3) infographics of 2 to 4 pages each.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in both print and digital design, strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to deliver high-quality, visually consistent materials that align with JWF’s branding and communication objectives within an agreed timeline
Scope of work and deliverables
The Graphic Designer Consultant will be responsible for:
- Designing six (6) booklets:
- Three booklets of approximately 30 to 50 pages each.
- Three booklets of approximately 70 pages each.
- Each booklet must include a cover, internal layout, icons, visuals, and consistent formatting aligned with JWF’s branding.
- Designing three (3) infographics of 2 to 4 pages each, presenting complex information in clear and visually engaging formats.
- Ensuring all designs are suitable for both print and digital use, including screen-optimized versions.
- Submitting editable source files (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator) and print-ready PDF versions for all materials.
- Making multiple revisions based on feedback from the JWF team.
- Maintaining consistency with JWF’s visual identity, color schemes, typography, and communication objectives.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in designing publications such as booklets, brochures, banners, and invitations, preferably in the nonprofit organization sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Understanding layout principles, typography, visual hierarchy, and print production requirements.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear and engaging visual formats.
- Knowledge of print and digital formatting, ensuring designs are optimized for both print production and digital distribution
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
