Yemen: Rapid Displacement Tracking Update (3 - 9 August 2025)

From 1 January to 9 August 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 1,745 households (HH) (10,470 Individuals) who experienced displacement at least once.

Between 3 and 9 August 2025, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 50 households (300 individuals) displaced at least once. The majority of people moved into/within the following governorates and districts:

  • Ma’rib (24 HHs) – Marib City (16 HHs), Marib (6 HHs), Harib (2 HHs) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Al Hodeidah and Ibb.
  • Al Hodeidah (21 HHs) – Hays (16 HHs), Al Khukhah (5 HHs) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Taiz and Al Hodeidah.
  • Ta’iz (4 HHs) – Al Maafer (2 HHs), Ash Shamayatayn (1 HH), Salah (1 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Taiz and Ibb.

The majority of people moved from the following governorates and districts:

  • Ta’iz (18 HHs) – Maqbanah (13 HHs), As Silw (2 HHs), Al Mudhaffar (1 HH) districts.
  • Al Hodeidah (14 HHs) – Al Jarrahi (6 HHs), Al Mina (3 HHs), As Sukhnah (2 HHs) districts.
  • Ibb (5 HHs) – Hobeish (3 HHs), Dhi As Sufal (2 HHs) districts.
