Support to SMES and Cooperatives in Circular Economy Solutions

Acted, in partnership with Live Love Lebanon (LLL), announces the opening of applications for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and cooperatives working within circular economy value chains, to benefit from technical and financial support under the project “Decent & Sustainable Livelihoods in the Circular Economy,” funded by the Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP III).

The project aims to support 15 SMEs/COOPs by enhancing their institutional and technical capacities, providing financial grants and in-kind contributions, and strengthening the adoption of circular economy practices and environmental sustainability, thereby contributing to job creation and sustainable economic growth.

Benefits for Selected Institutions

Selected institutions will benefit from an integrated package of support services, including:

Specialized training in sustainability, circular economy, and business management.

Financial grants and in-kind support tailored to each action plan.

Training on environmental standards and Decent Work requirements (3Zero).

Opportunities to access professional networks and new markets.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this program, the institution must meet the following conditions:

Be a Small or Medium Enterprise (10–250 employees) or a formally registered cooperative.

Be officially registered and operating within Lebanese territory.

Demonstrate a commitment to creating new job opportunities (at least two full-time jobs).

Be willing to fully participate in all project activities, including trainings and technical follow-up.

Not have received similar support within the past 18 months.

Scope of the Project

This call is open nationwide across Lebanon and targets all eligible institutions, regardless of geographic location.
Selection will be based on merit and the alignment of activities with the project objectives, without applying regional quotas.
