Request for Quotes (RFQ) 29-08/2025 : Transportation Services and Porters

Under WFP’s School Feeding Programme, DCL is looking to contract a transportation/logistics company for the below four activities;

  • Dry Commodities (Mixed Nuts, Dried Fruits, Peanuts, and Milk): Pick-up from a designated warehouse and transportation to other warehouses.
  • Fortified Date Bars: Pick-up from a designated Warehouse and distribution to assigned centers located in North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.
  • School Kitchens: Transportation of prepared school meals using delivery vans from central kitchens to nearby schools in North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.
  • FWFB: Transportation of freshly-baked fortified wheat flour bread from assigned bakeries to the central kitchens in North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.

Some locations and routes are finalized and shared below under “Confirmed Routes”. Additional routes are not confirmed now, as they are under consideration and will be shared by DCL at a later stage once finalized. These may include, but are not limited to, schools, central kitchens, warehouses, and bakeries in North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.

Contract duration:  15 September until 31 December 2025, renewable depending on the availability of funds.

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS

All bidders should submit the following:

  1. One sealed envelope with the inscription: “RFQ 29-08/25 Do not open before: Friday, September 12, 2025. No other inscription should be included on this envelope. Inside this envelope, there will be two smaller ones as follows:

 

    1. The first one will be titled as “Minimum Requirements” and should be sealed and stamped. It should include:
      1. The Annex 1 form, fully and accurately filled in, signed, and stamped.
      2. The company’s portfolio and list of references, including name, phone number, and proof of the specific collaboration (signed and stamped).
      3. Copy of company registration – (Ministry of Justice) وزارة العدل تجارية   تسجيل شركة شهادة  
      4. Copy of company registration (Ministry of Finance) (وزارة المالية)شهادة تسجيل الشركة
      5. Copy of tax registration (VAT)الضريبة على القيمة المضافة  في تسجيل شهاد
      6. Number of trucks in the company fleet, type, model (Annex 2).
    2. The second one will be titled as “Financial Proposal” and should be sealed and stamped. It should include (Annex 3) signed and stamped.
