WFP Yemen Situation Report #7, 17 August 2025

Food Security Situation:

• WFP data show that two-thirds of the population of Yemen were unable to obtain their minimum food needs in June. This is the highest level of inadequate food consumption ever measured by WFP in Yemen for the third consecutive month.

• The deteriorating food security situation in Yemen can be attributed to worsening economic conditions, substantial reductions in humanitarian aid due to funding cuts, limited livelihood opportunities, localized conflict across frontlines, and climatic hazards.
