Community Initiatives Network (CIN) is a youth-led organization established in 2010, dedicated to promoting human security, education, and women's empowerment in disadvantaged areas of North Lebanon. Our team has extensive experience in implementing educational and capacity-building projects that respond to community needs.
CIN is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support “ENABLE” project objectives aiming to enhance youth capacities in utilizing digital skills, enabling them to access decent job opportunities, launch innovative youth initiatives that contribute to SDGs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and track project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Coordinate, attend, and actively engage in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on key actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare and organize presentation materials for project-related sessions.
- Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
- Identify, communicate, and implement necessary project adjustments.
- Provide essential administrative support as required.
- Execute assigned project tasks.
- Develop and refine comprehensive project strategies.
- Ensure projects comply with established frameworks, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Evaluate project risks and issues, providing viable solutions as needed.
- Manage stakeholder perspectives to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Facilitate meetings as appropriate, ensuring timely distribution of meeting minutes to project team members.
- Maintain a project management calendar outlining goals, milestones, and objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sociology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments is preferred.
- Team-oriented, flexible, able to handle pressure, and enjoys fieldwork.
- Strong facilitation and organizational abilities.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong digital skills.
Organizational Policies:
- Adhere to and promote CIN’s Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy, PSEA Policy, and Gender & Diversity Policy, promptly reporting any potential breaches.
- Comply with and promote all CIN policies, including Internal Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Actively participate in weekly and monthly coordination meetings.
- Uphold "Do No Harm" principles in all activities.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the line manager, in alignment with the role.
Note:
CIN maintains a zero-tolerance policy for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) of beneficiaries. Protection from PSEA is everyone’s responsibility, and all staff must adhere to the Code of Conduct, which upholds PSEA principles, both during and outside of work hours. Familiarization with and adherence to the Code of Conduct is mandatory for all staff, along with required training.
