  1. BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic justice and good governance, and women’s rights. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men.

 

  1. SPECIFICATION OF GOODS REQUIRED

 

  1. Supply 2-units Piezometer 500m with a dip meter for the Geologist use and production department at SLWE

  1. All goods should be adequately packaged to prevent damage in transit or intermediate storage
  2. After Sales & Warranty Services for 1 year. The supplier shall submit a written warranty paper

 

  1. The Contractor’s relationship will directly be with OXFAM staff OXFAM will inform the contractor on the date of delivery.

 

  1. An Oxfam staff or a representative will be responsible to monitor and confirm the work.

 

  1. The contractor should have the capacity to complete this task within 5 days.

 

  1. Supplier shall submit comprehensive technical data sheets for the Dip meter according to factory testing and commissioning.

 

  1. Supplier shall be responsible for transporting the Dip meter to the designated location and for providing any necessary equipment to complete the delivery.

 

  1. Any item not complying with the specs will be rejected.

 

If the supplier wishes to propose modifications to the specification (which may provide a better way to achieve Oxfam ´s objectives) these must be considered as an alternative offer. The Supplier must make alternative offers in a separate letter to accompany the offer. OXFAM is under no obligation to accept alternative offers.
