A Call to Young Changemakers in Lebanon

Peace Starts with You... Let’s Build it Together!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Youth Peacebuilding Lab, a unique event
that brings together alumni of peacebuilding camps and their guests’ young people
passionate about constructive change.
The YMCA Lebanon, in partnership with YMCA Finland and with the support of the Ministry
for Foreign Affairs of Finland, is proud to launch the first edition of the Youth Gathering for
Peacebuilding in 2025.
About YMCA
YMCA is a global organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social
responsibility. With a long history of working for peace and justice, YMCA Lebanon creates
safe, inclusive spaces where young people can grow, lead, and contribute positively to their
communities.

What Does the Program Offer?
• Interactive dialogue labs on conflict transformation and nonviolent communication
• Storytelling sessions and inspiring personal experiences
• Artistic activities and creative expression on Peace and Conflict

Location: Fares Camp, Ras El Metn

Dates: Gathering 1: September 12 to September 14, 2025

           Gathering 2: September 26 to September 28, 2025

Who Can Apply?
Alumni of previous Peacebuilding Camps, with each participant invited to bring along
someone who believes in the importance of change and building a more peaceful future,
and any person:
o passionate about making a positive difference
o Open to dialogue and learning from others
o Willing to participate sincerely and actively
o Able to commit to staying at Fares Camp, Ras El Metn, for the full 3-day duration
o Age: 18 years and above
