Economist

The Economist will be primarily responsible for drafting a policy note that summarizes the key findings of the diagnostic review (conducted in the first phase of the project), explores country experiences in aid monitoring and transparency, and provides actionable recommendations for improving the mechanisms in place for Governments and CSOs.

The Economist will be responsible for:

1. Summarizing the key findings of the diagnostic report into actionable recommendations for Government stakeholders and CSOs.
2. Identifying and presenting innovative and comparative international experiences in aid monitoring and reporting that can inspire the Lebanese context. Proposing practical, context-specific strategies and/or actions respectively for Government and for CSOs to strengthen their monitoring and advocacy mechanisms when it comes to aid transparency and monitoring.
