GBV expert for the project "Breaking Barriers: Stories of Empowered Women Behind Bars " funded by AFD.

DAA will hire a GBV expert to conduct a 3 days capacity building training to be better equipped to deliver evidence-based practices, provide empathetic support, and create a rehabilitative environment on gender, gender sensitive approaches, international human rights conventions, the international conventions ratified by Lebanon, rights of persons deprived of liberty based on human rights conventions, guidelines and standard rules of conduct for the treatment of female prisoners in service provision and human rights standards in a context free from stigma and discrimination, and non-violent communication. The expert will train ISF personnel involved in the prison context using designed tools to address the needs of imprisoned women, by adopting a gender sensitive approach in service provision.
