LLWB/UK: Data visualization specialist or Graphic Designer, to create visually engaging infographics that summarize and communicate key findings from 3 LLWB studies.

About the Program:
LLWB, in partnership with UK Embassy in Lebanon aims to facilitate and increase female representation on the boards of organizations, syndicates, universities and public entities and institutions (Such as ministries and or national machineries and or public institutions) promoting gender equality and diversity in decision-making positions.
During Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this project, LLWB conducted two studies on the representation of women on boards in listed companies and public institutions in Lebanon. The aim of these studies was to highlight the status of women on boards, assess their representation, and identify the barriers that hinder their presence in leadership positions.
In addition, the studies provided both general and practical recommendations to enhance women’s representation in leadership roles and strengthen their participation in decision-making positions.
Scope of Consultancy:

  • Content Review and Concept Development:
  • Review the studies and research materials provided by LLWB to identify key findings and messages.
  • Develop a creative concept for the video, including visual style, tone, and flow.
  • Prepare a detailed storyboard or visual outline for LLWB approval before animation.
    Script and Messaging:
  • Draft a clear and concise script that communicates the findings in an engaging and understandable way.
  • Work with LLWB to ensure accuracy and alignment with messaging guidelines.
  • Include suggestions for voiceover narration, captions, and call-to-action elements.
  • Design and Animation:
  • Design visually appealing graphics and animated sequences based on the storyboard.
  • Apply LLWB’s / the British Embassy in Beirut’s branding guidelines (colors, fonts, logos).
  • Ensure the video is suitable for both online platforms and presentations, and Television mainstreaming.
    Audio Production:
  • Record professional voiceover narration (English and Arabic).
  • Select background music and sound effects that enhance engagement without overpowering the content.
    Subtitles and Accessibility:
  • Provide subtitles/captions in English and Arabic
  • Deliver closed caption files (SRT) compatible with online platforms.
    Draft Review and Feedback:
  • Share draft versions with LLWB for feedback.
  • Incorporate revisions based on LLWB and the British Embassy in Beirut comments to produce the final video.
    Final Production and Deliverables:
  • Deliver high-resolution video files in multiple formats (MP4, MOV) suitable for social media, presentations, online sharing, and Television Format.
  • Provide short clips, GIFs, and thumbnails for promotional use.
  • Include editable source files (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva, or equivalent) for future updates.
  • Provide alternative aspect ratios for different platforms (16:9, 1:1, 9:16).
  • Include optional infographic PDFs extracted from the video for print or handouts.
  • Supply a usage guide with best practices for posting, sharing, and presenting the video.
  • Maintain clear communication with LLWB communications and partnerships lead and head of programs throughout the process.
  • Track progress against agreed timelines
  • Ensure all deliverables meet professional quality standards and LLWB expectations.


Timeline: The expert is to submit a time frame for submission end of October 2025
Required Qualifications:
The applicant must hold a degree in Graphic Design / Multimedia/ Visual Communication, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in animated infographic production.

1.Experience & Portfolio:

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality animated infographics or explainer videos.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling, and data visualization skills.

2.Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing and animation software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva).
  •  
  • Ability to design graphics consistent with branding guidelines and professional standards.
  •  
  • Experience with creating multi-format outputs (MP4, MOV, GIFs, alternative aspect ratios).

3.Content & Communication Skills:

  • Ability to translate complex data or research findings into clear, engaging visual content.
  • Strong scriptwriting and storytelling capabilities for short videos.
  • Experience working with voiceovers, subtitles, and captions for accessibility.

4.Collaboration:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders for feedback and revisions.
  • Good communication skills to maintain clear progress updates and review cycles.

5.Preferred:

  • Experience producing bilingual content (English and Arabic).
  • Knowledge of gender, social impact, or development-focused content.
  • Familiarity with LLWB branding or similar NGO communications standards.

Deliverables:

  • Animated video version of the infographics (1-2 minutes) suitable for:
  • Social media platforms
  • Presentations
  • Online sharing
  • High-resolution video files in standard formats (MP4, MOV) for different platforms.
  • Draft video shared for review and feedback before finalization.
  • Final approved video delivered after incorporating revisions.
  • Short clips or GIFs extracted from the video for social media promotion.
  • Background music and voiceover (if required), properly synced with visuals.
  • Subtitles or captions in English (and Arabic if needed) for accessibility.
  • Storyboard or concept draft showing sequence of visuals before animation begins.
  • Editable project/source files (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro,) for future updates.
  • Usage guide/notes explaining video formats and best practices for different platforms.
  • Thumbnail images optimized for social media posting.
  • Promotional materials derived from the video, such as single-frame images highlighting key points.
  • Alternative aspect ratios (16:9, 1:1, 9:16) for different social media channels.
  • Closed caption files (SRT) for accessibility and online platforms.
  • Version for offline presentation (low-res or compressed file) if needed.
  • infographic PDFs derived from the video content for print or handouts.
  • With this call for proposal, LLWB requests the interested individual applicant to express his/her interest and send a cover letter with clear commitment to develop the infographics. The expert needs to send a financial proposal covering all the above deliverables and ensure that MOF certification is needed. Note: Failing to provide these documents will lead to a deduction of the withholding tax (8.5%) as per the Lebanese Law.

  • An updated CV with at least 2 references
  • A PDF cover letter outlining relevant experience and qualifications
  • A note outlining the planned methodology based on enclosed Terms of Reference (max. 2 pages).
  • A sample of at least 5 previous design work or visual communication projects, such as infographics, animated videos, or data visualization materials, in English and/or Arabic.
  • A financial proposal including a lump sum in USD dollars for developing the above-mentioned deliverables covering all cost of consultancy in PDF.
  • Title of Document should be “LLWB/UK: Data visualization specialist or Graphic Designer, to create visually engaging infographics that summarize and communicate key findings from 3 LLWB studies..”
  • Copy of passports or IDs and Lebanese financial registration documents.

Note: Failing to provide these documents will lead to an automatic deduction of the withholding tax (8.5%) as per the Lebanese Law.
