NAHNOO is a registered Lebanese Non-Governmental & Non-Profit Organization. NAHNOO has been working since 2009 as a research, capacity-building and advocacy platform for participatory policymaking, towards an inclusive society in Lebanon. The NGO rallies volunteers across Lebanon and through multidisciplinary and participatory research, capacity-building workshops, and grassroots activities, we provide a platform for youth and professionals to lead the planning and implementation of advocacy campaigns and gain the skills needed to impact policy-making at the local and national levels.

Objective/purpose of consultancy:

NAHNOO seeks a professional Photo-Videographer to ensure documentation, visibility and archiving of a series of activities organized in Horsh Beirut for the revitalization of the park: biking & skating sessions, opening ceremony, children running races, Bike & Skate Celebration Day

Biking and skateboarding Day

* 50 High resolution photos covering key moments

* 1 short and edited video capturing the aspects of the event with interviews or testimonials

* Documentation of all EU, ILO and ENABLE visibility (banners, booths, materials)

Biking sessions (x 10 weekly)

* 10 High-resolution photos per session i.e up to 100 total, covering key moments from the weekly sessions, with a focus on inclusive access, branding, and community participation.

* 1 short & edited video summarizing the 10 weekly sessions

End of August till early November 2025

Skating sessions (x 10 weekly)

* 10 High-resolution photos per session i.e up to 100 total, covering key moments from the weekly sessions, with a focus on inclusive access, branding, and community participation.

* 1 short & edited video summarizing the 10 weekly sessions

Running races for children (x 3)

* 10 High-resolution photos per race i.e up to 30 total, covering key moments from the weekly sessions, with a focus on inclusive access, branding, and community participation.

* 1 short & edited video summarizing the 3 races

September-October 2025

Important notes:

• Material to be branded and prepared as per the ILO and the EU communication guidelines (provided by NAHNOO)
• For videos: to be subtitled in English if Arabic is spoken and vice-versa, 4K, stereo, with revisions integrated, possibly cut in several video-clips. Length depending on the type of activity and to be agreed upon (tentatively estimated 1 to 5 min).
• For photos: edited high-res photos (JPEG & RAW)
• Raw archive files: all footage, audio, photos, project files + consent forms on SSD and cloud
• Consent forms needed (template to be provided by NAHNOO)

Technical Requirements

Consultant is responsible for providing the equipment needed to complete the tasks with at minimum:

• 4K filming equipment and professional audio recording gear
• Editing software capable of color grading, mixing, subtitles
• Backup and archive management (files delivered on SSD and cloud)
• Compliance with media consent and rights clearance
• Keep coordinating with project team throughout assignment, including through meetings when necessary

Qualifications/level requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in videography, videomaking & editing
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality photo and video content
• Previous experience working with NGOs, civil society sector and/or cultural/heritage projects is a must
• Experience working with artisans or craftspeople is a strong asset
• Demonstrated strong storytelling and aesthetic skills in past works
• Flexible to work with flexible hours, on weekends and possibly travel across Lebanon
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written & spoken)

Proposed period of consultancy

Assignment to start as soon as possible till tentatively November 15, 2025

Total number of days according to the deliverable tables (1 day = 8h)

Filming may happen during weekends, based on a set schedule

Selection criteria & expert fees:

The consultant will be selected based on competitiveness and quality of the technical (CV/portfolio) & financial (quotation) proposals. They will be paid upon successful completion of commissioned work based on an agreed upon schedule.

Method of payment: via cheque to cash or bank transfer (if Blom bank), noting that NAHNOO does not cover bank charge.
