Junior Media Officer (Photographer)

Job purpose:

The Junior Media Officer (Photographer) is responsible for documenting all activities and events of the organization, producing impactful human stories and success stories, and providing high-quality visual content for marketing and communication.

He/she will ensure proper archiving, editing, and processing of images and videos, while creatively suggesting new media ideas to enhance the organization's outreach and visibility.

Job responsibilities

Systems Development:

• Documenting all activities and events of the organization and partner institutions.
• Filtering, processing, and archiving photographic material in a systematic way.
• Filming and photographing human stories and success stories for marketing purposes.
• Searching for media materials and suggesting innovative content ideas.
• Using professional cameras, lighting, and related tools effectively.
• Ensuring proper documentation, storage, and archiving of photos and videos.
• Editing, retouching, and processing images to meet professional standards.
• Supporting the media team with creative input and visual storytelling.

Qualification and Experience

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience as a photographer.
• Specialty certificate in photography or related media field.
• Ownership of professional camera and related equipment.
• Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Strong knowledge of lighting and accessories.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Creativity and innovative mindset with cloud knowledge.
