Position Overview:
Beit Atfal Assomoud, in partnership with UPA, is seeking a committed and experienced Supervisor to oversee the Learning Support Classes within the LEAP – Aspire project. The role will focus on enhancing the quality of remedial education services provided to children through effective coordination, monitoring, and team support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the remedial education activities conducted at the NISCVT centers.
- Conduct regular coordination and follow-up visits to UNRWA schools, local communities, and CBOs.
- Collaborate with center staff to develop and implement work plans with clear objectives, timelines, and evaluation tools.
- Monitor program outputs and recommend necessary adjustments for ongoing activities.
- Ensure data is collected accurately and on time, in collaboration with the Data Officer, M&E Officer, and UPA Area Focal Point.
- Support the recruitment process for educational staff.
- Assist with logistics, including procurement, inventory, and service coordination to meet project goals.
- Work closely with finance and administration teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Conduct follow-up visits to beneficiaries and monitor all project-related activities.
- Develop intervention strategies to enhance academic performance.
- Assist teachers and administrators in addressing behavioral and learning challenges.
- Maintain detailed case files and progress reports for students.
- Participate in all training sessions provided by Beit Atfal Assomoud and UPA.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with effective educational methods.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Child Protection Policy, including confidentiality and child-centered practices.
- Use MS Office and other relevant software effectively.
- Communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or preferably Educational Management.
- 2 years of experience in the education field, preferably in supervision or inclusive learning support.
- Strong command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and educational software.
