Outreach Worker - Daily (BML Roving)

SUMMARY

The Outreach Worker is responsible for the outreach activities such as roving among vulnerable communities, inform them about the project’s activities, support the PSS workers and refer beneficiaries in a safe and dignified way.

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conduct outreach activities as required.

• Enter survey data on software tool as required.

• Refer cases to the designated internal focal points.

• Participate in the field work and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information.

• Coordinate with the staff on the field.

• Support in administrative work when required.

• Support the PSS workers during the awareness raising sessions.

• Roving among the communities to introduce the project’s activities.

• Follow Caritas Lebanon operational policy and procedures.

• Respect the internal policies and procedures for example: dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in any humanitarian domain.

• Communication, writing, analytical and negotiation skills.

• 2 years of experience in related field.

• Language skills: English and Arabic.

• Computer Literacy: MS-Word / MS-Excel – Intermediate level.
