I. Introduction:
The Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a Lebanese NGO registered at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities under no. 1186 on 18 June 2014. LRI drives transformative environmental solutions by restoring ecosystems, enhancing climate resilience, and promoting sustainable agriculture and land management. Through innovation, advocacy, and policy engagement, we empower communities, especially women and youth to lead in circular economy models and green enterprises, ensuring long-term environmental and socio-economic sustainability.
II.TOR of the Position
The HR & Finance Intern is expected to perform the following duties:
- Prepare the documents requested by the donor and scan them for the Finance Department.
- Follow up on and verify employees’ timesheets and invoices (both soft and hard copies), ensuring accurate allocations.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Follow up on a monthly basis with the Finance Department’s requests from HR, and prepare the required documents accordingly.
- Adhere to the Finance and procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure that appropriate finance systems are maintained, and that all procedures and controls are implemented
- Ensure compliance to the local laws (income tax, and any other rules)
III. Requirements and skills
- University Major: Business Management, Finance or Management.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office
- Good in English and Arabic. Frensh is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning HR and Finance issues.
