Purpose of the Call for Tenders:
The purpose of this Call for Tenders is to solicit competitive offers for the rehabilitation and maintenance of irrigation channels in North Lebanon and Akkar. These works aim to:
•Restore the functionality of selected irrigation systems;
•Improve water access for smallholder farmers;
•Enhance agricultural productivity; and
•Mitigate risks associated with water blockages and flooding.
Activity Date Time:
Participation in the site visit is mandatory for any applicant aiming to apply for a lot.

- Site Visit to Nabeh Sir Irrigation Channel in Sir (Dennieh): October 2nd, 2025 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Site Visit to Harf Abyad and Ain El Nabee irrigation Channels in Fnaidek (Akkar): October 6th, 2025 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Deadline for Request for Clarifications: October 8th, 2025, 4:00 PM
- Last Date for Clarification Responses: October 10th, 2025, 3:00 PM
- Deadline for Submission of Tenders: October 15th, 2025, 2:00 PM
- Tender Opening Session: October 20th, 2025
- Notification of Award: October 22nd, 2025
- Contract Signature: October 28th, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
Legally registered contractors in Lebanon with valid documentation, including:
- Proof of Company and commercial registration in Lebanon
- Tax Compliance Certificate (VAT)
- Ministry of Finance Registration
Submission Requirements:
Technical Proposal: Submit a detailed technical proposal as outlined in the tender dossier.
Financial Proposal: Provide a comprehensive financial offer (s), sealed separately.
Place the two proposals in sealed and clearly labeled envelopes, then insert them into one outer envelope that bears only the tender reference number and is addressed to:

Important Notes:
- One bidder cannot be awarded to implement more than one lot; therefore, in case of winning the bids for 2 or more lots, the bidder must choose 1 lot only to implement. In this case, arche noVa team has the right to negotiate the final lot to be chosen, if any, with the winning bidder.
- Late submissions will not be considered.
- No fees or costs related to the preparation and submission of the tender will be reimbursed.
