Background and Purpose

World Vision Lebanon (WVL) is implementing Child Led school Feeding project in Baalbeck, Qaa, Hermel and Deir Ahmar Lebanon to have an improved development of girls and boys, with and without disabilities in Baalbeck-Hermel, through adequate nutritional food intake contributing to enhanced school retention and academic performance.

To support the effective implementation of this project, WVL seeks to recruit a team of casual workers to assist the project coordinator in monitoring and quality control, support in voucher distribution and follow up on the overall distribution and leading the satisfaction survey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring of producers and production of snacks.

• Monitor production process in each bakery
• Report any issues or undesirable practices

Follow up on distribution plans.

• Abide by the project coordinator guidance while keeping close coordination with school administration

Quality Control on items provided to schools.

• Daily quality check on snacks before the distribution
• Tracking remaining items on daily basis and remaining quantities

Assist in setting up school shops.

• Assist and support in organizing the shop to ensure a smooth distribution

Distribute vouchers to children as per the beneficiaries lists.

Ensure child-friendly interaction

• Fill the satisfaction survey while ensuring a proper interaction with children

    Maintain accurate records of distributed items.

• Validate the number of distributed items per day through the number of collected vouchers

Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Follow all safeguarding and child protection protocols.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Proven experience in fieldwork, data collection tasks and distribution in humanitarian or development settings.
• Good understanding of technology, including the use of tablets.
• Expertise in data entry and maintaining records in written or electronic forms.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic; working knowledge of English is a strong asset
• Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Respect for cultural sensitivities and the ability to engage with beneficiaries with dignity.
• Active listening skills and the ability to respond to beneficiary inquiries professionally.
• Ability to gather information objectively and sensitively.
• Well organized to lead a smooth implementation
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse communities, including vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines and in changing field environments.
• Previous work with NGOs or international organizations in Lebanon.
• Background in nutrition, public health, or humanitarian work.
