Project Background
With the support of Johanniter, German Cooperation, Arche Nova, and Sidon Municipality,
NABAA is implementing the project: “Strengthening the Resilience of Vulnerable Women,
Young Adults, and Men in Lebanon by Improving Livelihoods and Increasing Food Security.”
To support this goal, NABAA is procuring boat equipment and fishing tools to be distributed to
targeted beneficiaries, helping them strengthen their fishing activities and improve their income
opportunities.
Scope of Supply
NABAA hereby invites qualified suppliers from the local market to submit sealed bids for the
provision of Boat Equipment (Fishing Tools & Supplies). Each lot shall include all the
specified items listed in the attached Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and must fully comply with the
stated requirements.
Bid Requirements
Suppliers must submit a complete offer that includes:
1. Administrative Documents:
o Commercial Registry
o VAT Registration Certificate
2. Financial Proposal (signed & stamped):
o Unit prices in USD
o Total cost including applicable taxes
o VAT indicated (to be paid separately in LBP at the official exchange rate)
o Validity of offer
o Payment terms
3. Technical Proposal (signed & stamped):
o Detailed specifications of items
o Sample of the full kit (mandatory – no photos will be accepted)
4. Additional Notes:
o All bank charges (local and international) are the responsibility of the supplier.
o NABAA will not cover customs or facilitation fees.
o Packaging and delivery to NABAA must be completed within 7 days of the
purchase order.
Submission Guidelines
• Bids must be submitted in person only (no email submissions will be accepted).
• All offers must be placed in a sealed envelope along with a physical sample of the kit.
