Data Scientist

• Gather data through surveys, experiments, and existing databases to support research and analysis.
• Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in datasets to ensure high-quality data for analysis and decision-making.
• Apply statistical theories and methods to interpret data, identify trends, and draw conclusions that inform organizational strategies.
• Prepare reports, tables, charts, and graphs to present findings in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to assess Order of Malta Lebanon health activities and identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.
• Design and implement statistical models and methodologies to solve specific problems in fields such as health economics, biology, and medicine.
• Collecting and cleaning internal data from various departments.
• Consolidating quantitative and qualitative data into databases.
• Applying various calculations and formulas to analyze and interpret the data
• Ensuring the data and calculations are accurate
• Interpreting the results to find trends and information that’s useful for Order of Malta Lebanon health activities decision-making
• Assisting in the development of research proposals
• Set up and execute approved statistical models to support all business units
• Analyze and interpret data compiled from multiple sources to help drive business activities and decisions with guidance
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with health sectors and OML departments by accurately and efficiently executing specifically assigned tasks relating to healthcare business unit strategies
• Execute data transformation processes to load data into a data warehouse ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Determine statistical methods for analysis of healthcare spatial and quality data.
• Collaborate with staff on developing and executing statistical methodologies and advanced analytical techniques
• Presenting the data and statistical findings to the health executive team
• Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta - Lebanon

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master degree in statistics, Mathematics, epidemiology or any related field
• Relevant experience in reseach
• 3 to 5 years of minimum experience
• Strong knowledge of statistical theories, methodologies and techniques.
• Comfort with technology, especially databases and statistical analysis software
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and formulas
• Effective data analysis skills
• Proven experience as a Health care Biostatistician
• Written communication skills, including report writing
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of statistical theories, methodologies, and techniques
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including dashboards to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in database management, using SQL
• Familiar working with Health care information system (i.e., Phenics) is diserable
