Inclusive Football trainer-Bekaa

The main objective of this consultancy is to recruit a skilled Football Coach who will use sport as a structured tool to promote physical well-being, psychosocial support, and social cohesion in communities affected by conflict and displacement. Football, as one of the most popular and accessible sports, offers a unique platform to bring together diverse groups, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, refugees, host communities, women, girls, and persons with disabilities (PwDs).
More specifically, the consultancy aims to:
1.Promote Physical and Psychosocial Well-Being: Provide youth and community members with safe, regular, and positive opportunities for physical activity that help reduce stress and foster resilience.
2. Strengthen Social Cohesion and Inclusion: Use football as a neutral platform to encourage interaction, cooperation, and trust-building among different community groups, reducing discrimination and isolation.
3. Contribute to Protection Outcomes: Create a safe space where participants can learn values such as respect, teamwork, non-violence, and fair play, while integrating protection messages that encourage positive behaviors and mitigate risks.
4.Build Community Engagement and Ownership: Support local initiatives and demonstrate the role of recreational activities in reinforcing community participation, especially by ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups in meaningful ways.
