MEAL Officer

Responsibilities And Obligations:

• Coordinating and monitoring MEAL with subcontractors.
• Participating in the development and refinement of MEAL tools (frameworks, IPTT, logical models, program tools).
• Leading external MEAL consultancies with Himaya departments and partners.
• Leading program MEAL implementation in the field areas.
• Generating analysis summary reports (figures, graphs, narratives) to support reporting and project proposals.
• Optimizing the use of Microsoft database and ensuring automation of exports/reports.
• Acting as focal point with RIMS/RAIS/Activity Info.
• Organizing and managing means of verification.
• Handing over quantitative reports, evaluation reports, Kobo and activity info to volunteers/interns as needed.
• Recruiting, training, managing and validating the work of volunteers and interns engaged in MEAL tasks.
• Ensuring proactive approach, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership in all MEAL functions.

Miscellaneous:

• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of himaya by effectively communicating information about its activities, projects, mission, values, and history
• Adhere to the mission and values of himaya by adopting and conveying its core values and concepts in both personal and professional contexts
• Participate in all activities and events organized by himaya (e.g., staff care, Christmas events, end-of-year gatherings)
• Respect the Code of Conduct, the Child Protection Safeguarding Policy, the PSEAH Policy, and all internal regulations
