Job Purpose
The HR Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all human resources strategies, policies, and practices for both Beit El Baraka NGO and Beit Kanz F&B. The role ensures alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals, promotes a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and supports staff performance, growth, and wellbeing across both entities.
Key Accountabilities
HR Strategy & Governance
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the mission, vision, and values of BEB and Beit Kanz.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Lebanese labor law and reflect best practices in both NGO and F&B contexts.
- Act as a strategic partner to management by providing HR insights that inform decision-making and organizational planning.
Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain qualified, mission-driven, and high-performing staff.
- Oversee workforce planning and ensure optimal staffing structures for both NGO and F&B operations.
- Manage onboarding and probation evaluation to support successful integration of new hires.
Performance & Development
- Design and implement performance management systems, linking objectives with organizational outcomes.
- Provide managers with tools and training to evaluate, coach, and support staff effectively.
- Identify training needs and oversee employee development programs, with a focus on capacity building and career growth.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a positive organizational culture that reflects BEB’s humanitarian mission and Beit Kanz’s commitment to excellence in hospitality.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives that strengthen motivation, wellbeing, and retention.
- Mediate employee relations matters and ensure a respectful, fair, and inclusive work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Develop and maintain competitive salary scales and benefits packages adapted to both NGO and F&B industries.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
- Administer NSSF, insurance, and other employee benefits, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Compliance & HR Operations
- Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and personnel files for all staff.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, tax obligations, and internal policies.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and reports for management and board review.
Cross-Entity Support
- Balance HR needs across BEB and Beit Kanz, ensuring tailored solutions while promoting alignment in shared values and practices.
- Support management in organizational development, restructuring, and change management processes.
