Psychologist

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify beneficiaries’ needs and guide appropriate interventions.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for youth, adults, and vulnerable populations, including GBV survivors.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans tailored to beneficiaries’ psychological and emotional needs.
  • Coordinate with social workers, GBV case workers, and other service providers to ensure integrated support and appropriate referrals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all interventions uphold principles of safety, dignity, and respect.
  • Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and interagency coordination mechanisms as required.
  • Contribute to awareness sessions, prevention programs, focused PSS activities, and capacity-building initiatives related to mental health and GBV response.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, action plans, and documentation of therapeutic work.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and emerging needs in psychosocial support and recommend improvements to programs.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all interactions.

Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical or Counseling)
Valid Professional Practice License (إذن مزاولة المهنة) issued by the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in psychological support for diverse populations
Proven experience working with GBV survivors and understanding trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches
Strong knowledge of MHPSS principles, trauma care, and protection mechanisms
