Trainer – Branding, Packaging, and Marketing Strategy (Digital Marketing and Design Support)

1. Objective of the Assignment
The main objective is to strengthen MSMEs’ branding and market positioning by improving
their packaging, design identity, and digital communication tools as needed.
The expert will work closely with each MSME to support in at least three of the below areas,
based on the needs of each MSME :
● Develop or refine brand identity elements (logo, colors, typography).
● Improve product packaging design and labelling layout.
● Support digital marketing presence, including social media optimization and content
creation.
● Design professional e-cards, company profiles, e-brochures, and product labels.

● Enhance MSMEs’ visibility and customer engagement across online and offline
channels.

2. Scope of Work
The expert shall:
● Deliver three one-on-one clinics per MSME (2 hour each) focusing on:
o Session 1: Branding and marketing assessment, review of brand identity, logo,
and current packaging.
o Session 2: Marketing strategy design – market positioning, storytelling, and
digital presence.
o Session 3: Practical design support – finalizing logos, labels, social media visuals,
and e-materials.

● Provide hands-on design guidance (brand toolkit, templates, visuals).
● Support MSMEs in creating or improving digital company profiles, e-brochures, and
online content.
● Ensure all designs and materials follow modern marketing principles and brand
coherence.
● Advise MSMEs on digital marketing tools and cost-effective promotional strategies.

3. Expected Deliverables
● Branding and marketing assessment report per MSME.
● Refined or newly designed logo and packaging concept per MSME.
● Digital materials: e-cards, company profiles, e-brochures, or label designs.
● Digital marketing strategy summary per MSME (recommended tools and posting plan).
● Attendance sheets and session reports.
● Final summary report highlighting all MSME branding upgrades and visual
improvements.

4. Duration and Timeline
● Total MSMEs: 13
● Clinics per MSME: 3 sessions (2 hour each)
● Implementation Period: 3 November – 28 November 2025
● Sessions will take place on-site at MSME premises in West Bekaa and/or South Baalbek.

5. Qualifications and Experience
● Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, or Digital Media.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in brand strategy, packaging, and digital marketing.
● Proven expertise in graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).
● Experience supporting MSMEs or small brands in improving their visual identity and
online presence.
● Strong understanding of social media trends and brand storytelling.
● Excellent communication skills in Arabic (English is an asset).

7. Reporting and Supervision
The expert will report directly to the MDSF Project Manager and coordinate closely with the
MDSF communication and technical teams to ensure consistency across MSME outputs and
materials.


8. Payment Terms
● 100 % payment after completion of the one-on-one clinics, submission and approval of
all deliverables.
● Payments will be made via bank transfer or telegraphic transfer (TT), and a tax
deduction of 8.5% will apply in accordance with Lebanese law (Articles 41 & 42) if the
MOF documentation is not provided.

9. Submission Requirements
Applicants should submit:
● Updated CV or portfolio highlighting branding, packaging, and digital design experience.
● Technical and financial proposal (cost per MSME or per clinic).
● Copy of MOF certificate and ID/registration document.
● Samples of branding, social media, or marketing designs developed for other clients.

10. Confidentiality
All MSME brand materials, photos, and marketing assets are confidential and may not be
shared or reused without written authorization from MDSF.
