Part-time Web Developer (WordPress)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Megaphone’s existing WordPress website.
• Develop and deploy new features and functionalities as needed.
• Ensure site responsiveness, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with our design and editorial teams to translate creative concepts into functional web experiences.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or examples of past work required).
• Strong understanding of Bricks Builder and AutomaticCSS frameworks.
• Familiarity with BEM (Block Element Modifier) methodology.
• Solid grasp of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with media platforms or content-heavy websites.
• Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics.
